Mostar's centre is small enough to cross on foot. Stari Most, the rebuilt 1566 bridge over the Neretva, stands at the middle of it, and the streets, mosque and riverbank lanes around it take only minutes to walk between.
How The Old Town Meets The Day Trips
The Old Town, Kujundžiluk bazaar street, the Crooked Bridge and the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque all sit within a short walk of Stari Most, and Donja Mahala lies along the riverbank just south. Beyond the city, roads reach Blagaj Tekke in about 19 minutes, Počitelj in about 31 minutes, and Kravica waterfall in about 54 minutes.
